Ruby Singh presents Aarti | Offerings of Light with Delhi based musicians Chaar Yaar; a modern interpretation of Guru Nanak Dev Ji's 16th century piece "Ode to the Cosmos" popularly know as "Aarti"

This modern version is a pluralistic approach to this traditional work. The group has come together from a variety of different religious and cultural backgrounds to commemorate Guru Nanaks's vision of a world and universe that is truly One.

This piece was created in celebration of the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder and first Guru of Sikhi, and his incredible legacy. "Aarti" has been sung without break from the precincts and the sanctum sanctorums of the Gurdwaras, places of Sikh worship for the last five centuries.
